Jean trained her first dog with Desert Dog Obedience in 1981 and became an instructor with Desert Dog twelve years later. She has trained and titled numerous breeds in both the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) competition obedience programs with top 10 ranked dogs in the ASCA obedience program. In addition to competition obedience, Jean enjoys working her dogs in Rally Obedience, Dock Diving, Fast CAT, Agility, Herding, Draft and Carting, tricks, Barn Hunt, and Conformation. Jean teaches all levels. Her present schedule includes Advanced Beginner, Rally and Open/Novice, and special interest workshops. She also provides private instruction.
